On Tuesday, Briefly.co.za reported that Paseka "Mboro" Motsoeneng says that there was a scam to close down his church.

However, the controversial pastor's lawyer has now revealed that Mboro was supposed owed money, not the other way around.
According to the Daily Sun, Willson Mkhawana told the South Gauteng High Court that Mboro allegedly owns shares, which he purchased from Metcash.
Mkhawana revealed that Mboro was under the impression that by buying the shares, he would own the property.

However, the shares were allegedly never transferred to the controversial prophet and Metcash is suing him for the exact amount he transferred for the shares.
Martin Crafford of Metcash testified in the trial and he said there was a mistake in the contract when it was read out loud.
Mkhawana used this to substantiate his claim that Mboro owns the property. The case was postponed to Thursday and after the proceedings, Mboro said that his church was evicted from a property he co-owned.
