Well, banana powder (a favourite among the likes of Bonang Matheba, Kim Kardashian and Faith “Queen Twerk” Nketsi) is a mattifying powder can both set your makeup and contour your face.

Despite it being called banana powder however, it is not made from bananas. The name has more to do with the color of the powder.
And don’t be put off by it’s yellowy tinge either, banana powder is such a miracle product because it works for people of all skin tones from all races.
The best places to apply it would be on your T-zone (under your eyes and on the bridge of your nose) and on your chin using either a powder brush, a powder puff or a sponge. I suggest dusting it on with a power brush and then blending the powdery residue.
For the best results, I suggest a practice called baking, which means; dusting the powder onto the aforementioned areas and leaving the powder on your skin for about 10 minutes to allow it to set while you do other things and then blend what’s left on your face until it is no longer visible.
